Dee,
Over many long years I've known you to become a wonderful family man, beloved by all, devoted to your mom and dad, sister, wife, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends and who in time of our county's need, served so bravely in the Vietnam War. I'm so glad and grateful you were the brother in law that I got when I married your sister, Rosalie. You were more than a relative to me, you were a true and very special friend ... who shared times of happiness, and times of sorrow, and so many memories of yesterday. I've always admired you for yourself and your many fine accomplishments in life.
It thus was with great sadness and pain that we learned of your sudden and unexpected passing on Easter Sunday just past, only days after your birthday when last we spoke by telephone. Although we loved you most dearly, we could not bring you back to stay with us longer. Your Heart of Gold stopped beating. And God broke our hearts to prove to us that He only calls for the best. My dear brother in law and friend, know that you will remain forever in hearts and minds with fond memories and prayers.
"Eternal rest grant him, O Lord, And let perpetual light shine upon him, May he rest in peace. Amen."
John
